Talking with a therapist helps. It offers a kind of listening and being heard that allows one to explore and understand ways we have of thinking and feeling, beliefs, fears, wishes, dreams and imaginings, early memories and traumas, that can impact in repetitive difficulties, unhappiness, blocks, and problems in how we relate to others. Therapy is about loving, working, playing, changing life, self-reflecting, growing and discovery. It can lead to healing, authenticity and more comfortableness with oneself. The process is like a mother breathing as she watches her sleeping child, keeping alive, keeping well ,attuned and awake, allowing one to be.
